Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules governing your use of Kairos products and services. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.
1. Recording consent compliance
Kairos products may join, listen to, or process sales call audio. You are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from all call participants in accordance with applicable laws. Recording consent laws vary by jurisdiction:
- One-party consent jurisdictions: Many U.S. states and Canada permit recording with the consent of one party. The consenting party may be the user of the Service.
- Two-party (all-party) consent jurisdictions: Some U.S. states and many international jurisdictions require consent from all participants on a call. Examples include California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Washington, and others.
You must comply with the most restrictive applicable law for any call. When using the Service in two-party consent contexts, you must ensure all participants are notified that the call may be recorded and analyzed. Kairos provides configuration options to support both consent models, including automatic verbal disclosure when our meeting bot joins a call.
Use of the Service in violation of recording consent laws may subject you to legal liability and is grounds for immediate termination.
